I do have to share these pictures with you that were from my season ending weekend in Oregon for 2008 Archery Deer.
My son and I hunted near Clarno, Sutton Mtns., Spring Basin & Dufer for the weekend. I believe it is called making the circle! I am always looking for Antelope – Pronghorns while out and about. As usual we were able to find some Antelope in the West Biggs Unit and the Grizzly Unit. The following pictures are of a pretty good buck that survived the 2008 Archery and Rifle season in Oregon for the Grizzly Unit. I took the pictures at about 75 yards. This buck has very good slimmetry, but deceiving on looking head on to this buck.
Next year he is going to be a real dandy buck and may even be able to make book!

I have known Old Bwana Bubba or Cobra by some for a very long time. He has hunted all over Oregon for the past 30+ years and has taken many big bucks and bulls. He knows his stuff when it comes to hunting spots and where to find game.
I remember back some years ago, before I became wealthy, that I needed a place to hunt for a mule deer buck in Oregon.
I had stopped by the sporting goods store that Bwana was managing for Burns Bros., Inc on SE Union Ave. and asked Frank for a spot.
He told me that if I hunted the BLM parts bordering the Crooked River Ranch that I could find a respectable buck to shoot.
Well I did find a pretty good buck to shoot out in the sage flats on a lower bench above the Crooked River.
It was my first buck of many to come.
I have that buck hanging with my other trophies that I have added to my game room.
